Dorongúr Whitethorn (Sindarin for Oak-heart) is met at several points in time and in two locations in the eastern Ered Luin. In the current period of Lotro, he serves as the Master of Duillond.
Dorongúr (Refuge of Edhelion)
A new Elf character meets Dorongúr during the Dourhand assault on the Refuge of Edhelion, some 600 years prior the events that occur in current Lotro time. Once the new Elf has fought through several Dourhand guards he opens a gate and he leads the way to Elrond, where everyone present will witness how Talagan Silvertongue sacrifices himself to stop Skorgrím's madness.
Dorongúr (Edhelion Watch)
Dorongúr is a member of the Elvish expedition at Edhelion Watch investigating Elrond's dream and the mystery of Skorgrím's corpse, which occurs about two years prior to the current period. New Dwarf and Elf characters will find him pondering the events of past somewhere in the ruins of the Refuge of Edhelion.
- "The memories I carry of this place and all those lost are a difficult burden to bear."
In the current period Dorongúr is met again as the Master of Duillond, in Ered Luin. He is found at one of the east-most platforms.
