Dáin I

King Dáin I was king of Durin's Folk in the middle-late Third Age.

His reign was plagued by attacks from dragons in Ered Mithrin. During the War of the Dwarves and Dragons, he and his son Frór were both killed by Vethúg Wintermind. Shortly after, the Dwarves had to abandon the Grey Mountains and return to Erebor and the Iron Hills, leaving their ounce-proud cities and forts to ruin.
