Bestowal Dialogue

'Well met, <name>. Word of your valour in the North has reached us, and you are welcome as a friend of the Kintai.

'In the West, the once-hallowed forest Nisigím lies stricken. Now it is named Adagím, for it is shadowed by blight, and foulness spreads where once light dwelt. Trees and beasts alike wither, and though some persist, mos t fall silent as the Mother Trees perish. Only Sul Madásh endures, untouched.

'Seek Quartermaster Aralath. They will tell you what aid we can spare—and what we ask in turn.'

Background

Welcomed by the Kintai of Sul Madásh, your reputation with an alliance in the North endears you to the Elves, and they look to you for assistance in preserving what remains of the Emerald Wood.

Objective 1

After speaking with Dithúrim, she directed you to speak with Quartermaster Aralath. He will provide further information in how we can assist the Kintai in Adagím.

Aralath: 'Welcome, <name>. Your honoured name reached us from our groves to the North. Your coming renews our hope that virtue yet walks among us.
'Our stores are thin, as in the North, and what we can grant in exchange for aid is little beside its worth. Yet we will deal in good faith.
'As the blight spreads, still there remain unspoiled roots and seeds in Adagím. We ask this: gather what is pure. Take the seedlings untouched by corruption; bring us the seeds that hold the memory of the Emerald Wood.
'Here, beneath the boughs of Sul Madásh, hope clings still. With your help, the forest may yet be reborn.'

Objective 2

Quartermaster Aralath informed you of how you can assist the Kintai and bid you return to Dithúrim for final instruction and a gift.

Dithúrim: 'If you should find the unsullied seeds of Nisigím, gather them with care. In them lies the memory of what once was and the hope, faint though it be, of what might yet return.
'We offer you tools to claim and harvest, or the means to make them. Choose as you will, and know this: even before your hand turns to aid us, we are already in your debt.'
