Remmorchant, the Net of Darkness
Celeborn leads a company of brave adventurers into the depths of the Remmorchant seeking to bring about the final defeat of his ancient foe. Meanwhile, Rûkhor the Pale Herald is enacting his vile plan to unleash the unending hunger of Shelob the Great upon all of Middle-earth.
Objective 1
The Ungoladan chieftain, Bratha Tasakh, Lady of Many Venoms, bars your path deeper into the Remmorchant.
- Legolas says, "Something approaches in the darkness!"
- Celeborn says, "Hold! Do not advance!"
- Bratha Tasakh, Lady of Many Venoms says, "Traitors! Unworthy of Mam Murgwid! Die, and return your strength to the clan!"
- Ungoladan Warrior says, "Mam Murgwid cares only to eat us! You saw what happened to Felgúr with your own eyes!"
- Ungoladan Hunter says, "Rûkhor has betrayed us!"
- Ungolada Warrior says, "Get out of our way, outsiders!"
- Legolas says, "That is their leader! She has been changed by Rûkhor's foul sorceries!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "So many dead! What happened here?"
- Mablung says, "You heard those Ungoledain. Felgúr's death in Shelob's maw has made them question their faith in her!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Hah! Serves them right for worshipping a spider demon such as she!"
- Celeborn says, "Hear me, Ungoledain! We will spare your lives if you lay down your arms and allow us to pass."
- Bratha Tasakh, Lady of Many Venoms says, "I hear you, Elf Lord, but I will not listen."

Thossulun the Massive, daughter of Shelob and Queen of all gredbyg, must be defeated to stem the tide of insects harassing your allies.

- Legolas says, "This is the fate of those who worship Shelob, or seek to ally with her."
- Celeborn says, "There shall be time to mourn yet another people undone by evil, but we cannot delay in our errand."

- Atli Spider-bane says, "Enough time-wasting! We have spiders to kill!"
- Mablung says, "I do not share your impatience, but I am beginning to wonder the same thing..."

Rûkhor the Pale Herald has unveiled his nefarious scheme to you. You must defeat him and his Bloodless captain, Zabothak, to prevent Shelob from being unleashed!

- Rûkhor the Pale Herald says, "You have finally come."
- Rûkhor the Pale Herald says, "Did you slay the entire Spider-horde to get this far?"
- Rûkhor the Pale Herald says, "Excellent."
- Celeborn says, "We will not allow your schemes to bear fruit, Gúrzyul!"

- Defeat Shelob the Great, Last Child of Ungoliant
The last challenge is finally upon you: defeat Ungwetári herself!
- Celeborn says, "You are wrong, Gúrzyul. There is still hope."
- Celeborn says, "By your light, Eärendil, brightest of stars, we shall vanquish the darkness!"
- Celeborn says, "Ungwetári will hide from the light no longer."
- Celeborn says, "In my long life, I have experienced few moments such as this: the weight of a history not yet written."
- Celeborn says, "Whatever transpires here will ripple across the world, a silent wake in a still pond, and it will be forever changed."
- Celeborn says, "If we do not succeed, Ungwetári shall forever plague the peoples of Middle-earth."
- Celeborn says, "Shelob shall feed upon Middle-earth itself, her vile children shall again spread through its lands, and the terrible offspring of Ungoliant shall endure evermore."
- Celeborn says, "We must not fail."
- Celeborn says, "We stand on the precipice of an ancient darkness..."
- Celeborn says, "Though I have not set foot in this terrible chamber for many long years, its memory shall never leave me."
- Celeborn says, "We now stand in the very heart of Shelob's lair."
- Celeborn says, "But... where is she?"
- Celeborn says, "It seems the path diverges. Take whichever you wish, and my company shall take the other."
- Celeborn says, "These paths are dark and treacherous. Be mindful of your footing, and we shall reunite ahead."
- Celeborn says, "Let us hope Ungwetári slumbers still and that our approach has gone unnoticed."
- Mablung says, "They crawled up all around us, and we tried to repel them, but there were just too many..."
- Mablung says, "And she... Shelob or Ungwetári... no name can describe her... she took Celeborn!"
- Mablung says, "I do not know his fate or that of the Gilgalar... and we have too many dead or wounded."
- Mablung says, "Have we come so far only to fail at the end of our quest?"
- Legolas says, "No. Not all is lost... not yet."
- Legolas says, "Celeborn would not want the sacrifices of the Rangers or the Elves to be in vain."
- Legolas says, "If ever Ungwetári's hunger might abate, let us hope this is the moment... and that Celeborn is not lost to us."
- Legolas says, "Let us see this journey to its end, my friend."
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Aye, lead on. I've come too far to turn back now."
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Legolas! Over here!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Lord Celeborn! Can you hear us?"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "DO NOT FEAR! I, ATLI SPIDER-BANE, SHALL FREE YOU!"
- Legolas says, "Ungwetári hands in the shadows above... it will not be long before she strikes."
- Legolas says, "You must wield the Gilgalar, my friend. Hold off Ungwetári for as long as you can!"

- Celeborn says, "Let us show Ungwetári and her children that the light cannot be vanquished!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Ha ha! Now that's more like it!"
- Celeborn says, "Ungwetári means to flee! We cannot allow her to escape, my friends!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Oh, no she doesn't!"
- Legolas says, "Come, friends! The moment is at hand!"
- Celeborn says, "You cannot hide from the Light of Eärendil, Ungwetári!"
- Celeborn says, "What power it once held has faded, but you shall now the wrath of Nenya!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "By Durin's beard, Shelob's still hanging on!"
- Atli Spider-bane says, "Stay your blades, Elves. There is something I must say to the beast."
- Celeborn says, "Speak if you must, Atli. It is... her end."
