Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue Background Long ago, Durin the Deathless sealed away an evil being known as the Shadowed King. Driven by intense jealousy, he wears the face of the Father of the Longbeards and builds a kingdom deep beneath the earth; a twisted reflection of the dwarf hall above, a mockery of the grandness of Khazad-dûm. He must be defeated, or his demented visions may become reality. This is a repeatable quest that you have previously completed. Objective 1 Pick up the Summoning Horn Use the Summoning Horn to call Frethis to your side. Use the Summoning Horn to call Frethi Objective 2 Talk to Frethi Frethi is standing by inside Askâd-mazal. You should talk to Frethi Objective 3 Defeat the Shadowed King Defeat the Shadowed King. The Shadowed King shouts, "Why have you come? Do you seek to oppose me? So be it." The Shadowed King shouts, "Lukan kaduruba inkh-hu. Zajalabalaga kâmin!" The Shadowed King shouts, "Can you not hear the whispers? He hungers...." The Shadowed King shouts, "Habanmâ zajalabalagamênu sullu!" Frethi says, "You have been charged with death, 'Shadowed King'! How dare you wear the face of Durin!" The Shadowed King shouts, "You dare reveal my true face?! You will die for this transgression!" The Shadowed King says, "Atmên ambâkh tabi ablâkmâ!" The Shadowed King shouts, "My defeat means nothing. My master will be unleashed... one way... or another...." The Shadowed King shouts, "Uthrokhâr zajalabalagamênu... sullu...." The Shadowed King died. Frethi says, "Well done, <name>! King Thorin will be pleased. Perhaps it is finally time for me to return to the Lonely Mountain."
