The Sword of Thrâng drops from ... ahem ... Thrâng After defeating Thrâng, it's possible to loot his Sword which starts this quest. There will be only one drop, so you have to roll for the Sword. After accepting the quest, and heading back into the area, a couple of Eldgang Giants will enter the room, one of them is Eimyr. Speak to him and collect your award.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue You defeated Thrâng, and in the process, learned that the Ghâshfra serve the Ever-seer. Eimyr, Chieftain of the Eldgang, should be told at once, for he has been deceived by the Ever-seer and unwittingly serves his evil purposes. Background You have defeated Thrâng and uncovered the plot of the Ever-seer. Objective 1 Eimyr can be found within Norbar in The Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu. You have defeated Thrâng and hold his weapon as proof of your valour. You should go to Eimyr and tell him of the Ever-seer's evil betrayal. Bring the Sword of Thrâng to Eimyr at Norbar 'You have defeated Thrâng of the Ghâshfra? You have earned a great reward from the Eldgang. 'What is this you say? The Ghâshfra serve the Ever-seer? The Ever-seer seeks to unleash the Great Evil upon us? 'The Eldgang will not stand idle and allow this thing to happen. We have been betrayed!'
