Is this an item, or a mob? It has a tooltip with flavor, so I was leaning towards item, but it doesn't have an icon. It's something you click in the landscape to pick up a quest-log-only item (cattle tag). ???? -Adelas (talk) 04:05, 20 October 2011 (EDT)

Good question. The way I have done these before it to create an item for the cattle tag, and put the image of the dead cow on that page. See what I did with Item:Meadowsweet. RingTailCat (talk) 14:34, 20 October 2011 (EDT)
You can make a page for the item (as RTC said), or put the picture with coordinates on the Walkthrough of the appropriate quest. The file can go into Category:Quest Item Images. --Ravanel (talk) 11:12, 31 October 2011 (EDT)
Which dead cow is this? Is one found near the Hound's Rest in Starkmoor in Dunland? Is this where you get the Cattle Tag? If so, let's link it up. RingTailCat (talk) 15:04, 31 October 2011 (EDT)
Yes RTC, that's the right thing. I'll step back and let you do it; I kind of like the idea of having it in the quest walkthrough, but your idea (put it on the cattle tag page) also makes sense. -Adelas (talk) 03:33, 1 November 2011 (EDT)
They're not mutually exclusive, I don't see harm in doing both ways if you like them. After all, if information is easier for readers to find, that's only a good thing. --Ravanel (talk) 06:24, 1 November 2011 (EDT)
I don't think there is enough independent information about the Dead Cow corpses to require a separate page for them, unlike, for instance, a resource node. I have added links on Cattle Tag and Merchants of Avardin -- Hevina. We could also add coordinates for the corpses, but that's not as useful in this quest as in some others. I like to have these pictures to add a little extra something to our articles. It makes them more like an encyclopedia than a catalogue. RingTailCat (talk) 07:25, 1 November 2011 (EDT)
