Effects
Prowess is a type 3 Anthem. It applies 
Anthem III - Prowess to the fellowship. If 
Anthem III - Composure is already active on the fellowship, the new effect 
Anthem III - Composure and Prowess is applied, and the duration of this combined effect is refreshed by either this skill or Lesser Anthem III - Composure.

Skill Interactions
The duration of this Anthem is increased by 15 seconds when used while in 
Melody - Stance.
Trait Interactions

Extended Anthems in the Protector of Song trait tree increases the duration of this Anthem by up to 25s. - The trait
Invigourating Anthems in the Protector of Song trait tree makes this skill apply Prowess to the Minstrel, and it reduces the cooldown of this skill by up to 5s. - The trait
Tale of Tales in the Protector of Song trait tree makes this skill refresh and tier up (if not already at tier 5) the Tale of Tales effect on nearby fellows.
Tracery Interactions
- Anthem Duration increases the duration of this Anthem by up to 33s.
- Anthem of War and Prowess Damage Buffs improves the potency of the damage by up to 55%.
Tactical Information
Prowess has different uses depending on the Minstrel's specialization:
- The Watcher of Resolve: Prowess is a good offensive anthem for a healing Minstrel, as melee fellowship members benefit from the increased damage. This Anthem is not commonly used to refresh Anthem III - Composure and Prowess unless Composure is not already applied on members of the fellowship.
- The Warrior-Skald: Prowess is a solid offensive Anthem. It only increases melee damage, so this Anthem is only used in fellowships where a melee damage class is present.
Prowess, when traited, is excellent for Corruption removal on a single target, and should be used for this purpose only if desired. This Anthem is more powerful in PvP, where the mitigation bonus is very helpful.
