Amdír

King Amdír was the King of the Silvan Elves of Lórien, and father of Prince Amroth.

He was a Sindar Elf who lived in the lands of Rhovanion and future Gondor.

When High King Gil-galad called a summons to war against Sauron, King Amdír could not muster a large force of Elves, and marched under King Oropher's banner.

In the Battle of Dagorlad, the Silvan Elves suffered heavy losses. Both Oropher and Amdír perished in what would become the Dead Marshes, along with half their army.

After his death, his crown passed to his son Amroth, who became the last king of Lórien.
