This is the template documentation for {{Delete Page}}. It is transcluded from Template:Delete Page/doc and may be directly edited there.
* Use this template to request an article (i.e. a page) for deletion.
- This tag marks an article with the banner above and adds it to Category:Articles for deletion where an Administrator can act on the request to delete the article. Before marking a page for deletion, please see {{Move}} if it is a naming issue, misspelling or something else that does not require a full deletion just a move.
- See Category:Stubs for more information on using stub templates.
Usage

Parameters
- This template expects a parameter to specify a reason.
- nocat is an optional parameter. When non-blank it prevents the Article from being added to Category:Articles for deletion.
