* This is a wrapper quest. 
* This quest auto completes as soon as you enter the Instance and automatically bestows the quest [[Quest: Retaking Dol Amroth| Retaking Dol Amroth]]
* You are expected to choose an area of Dol Amroth to defend, but you need full Acquaintance standing with the faction associated with that area, before you can do the Training Exercise quests for it. Since reputation with the [[Dol Amroth City Watch Library District|Library]] faction is attained as part of the unlock sequence, initially that will the only area you can defend. Speak to the Library representative.  Then speak to [[Bardúr]], the Training Exercise Commander,  to begin the instance.  The others will run away in the direction you should go to enter the city. For the [[Dol Amroth City Watch Docks District|Docks]] and [[Dol Amroth City Watch Warehouse District|Warehouse]] factions, the NPCs will run East towards the wharf area; all others will run West towards the main entrance.
* 7 new quests will be bestowed as you approach the city.  See the various factions for the quests bestowed. A typical Library quest would be [[Quest:Dol Amroth - Library - Shattered Glass|Dol Amroth - Library - Shattered Glass]]
* Invisible walls will prevent you from wandering too far away from the target area. Mobs beyond the invisible walls are not targetable. The map does not help you find the right place to go, so it can be helpful to find the invisible walls.  
 
* Each of the Training Exercise quests awards a faction-specific box, such as {{:Item:Docks_Box|mode=imlink}}, and a {{Item:Gold Token of Dol Amroth|mode=imlink}}. The box, in turn, contains either a variable quantity of {{:Item:Silver Token of Dol Amroth|mode=imlink}} or faction-specific tokens, such as {{:Item:Dol Amroth - Docks Token|mode=imlink}}. All tokens are unbound, and therefore are tradeable and do not go into the [[Premium Wallet]]. A full Training Exercise run, therefore, nets enough gold tokens to barter for {{:Item:Anfalas Scroll of Empowerment|mode=imlink}} or {{:Item:Anfalas Scroll of Delving|mode=imlink}}, although the silver tokens may need to be obtained on multiple Training Exercise runs, or from other Dol Amroth dailies for that faction.

Join us on a patrol of the area surrounding the city. This will be a full march, all of the city guard participating in an exercise and show of force. We shall meet outside the gate, ride to Amon Lontir and then loop our way back. 

'Along the way we will stop to practice certain maneouvres and do a mock assault on Amon Lontir. We shall be gone for several hours and return to the city around nightfall.
