'''Dol Dínen''' {{Lang|Sindarin|Silent Hill}} is an area within the [[North Downs]], in the south-east.

West of the hollow of stone-trolls in [[Taur Gonwaith]] and south of [[Rhunenlad]] this coy corner of the North Downs hides a devastated forest valley torn apart by the invading force occupying it. Mainly the [[Ongbúrz Tribe]] but also goblins, and wargs, have established a large war-camp here. Up the hill-side lies [[Hîsuk]], a sprawling fortress filled with enemies that are fiercely guarding the Hillmen stronghold of [[Tûmat]] even deeper in the mountains. Smaller camps and siege weaponry can found throughout the remaining valley.

This area provides no services whatsoever and travellers would be wise to avoid it lest they have a thirst for combat. It is the target of quests and raids of the [[Ranger]]s who need to thin the numbers of enemies and behead their leaders. There are many landscape quests and they are aimed at level 30, intended for fellowships. 

The skirmish [[Quest:Attack at Dawn|Attack at Dawn]] unfolds at Tûmat.
