A '''daze''' is a form of [[crowd-control]] that immobilizes a target. The target cannot move or use any abilities throughout the duration of the daze. When a daze expires, the target will have an immunity to dazes for one second. [[Temporary State Immunity]] does not affect dazes.

In general, dazes have a longer duration than [[stun]]s, but can be broken by damage. However, most dazes cannot be broken within the first few seconds of being cast. Before expiration, a daze can also be overwritten by another incoming daze, stun, [[root]] or [[fear]]. Because of this, an enemy can be kept in a dazed state indefinitely.
