Description

Note: Game characters Sywyn and Silrion both represent the same roleplay character. Both profiles will link back to each other, both are uploaded for searching use.

Appearance: Dawning black robes and hood, he looks to be a shady individual. At a closer look, now faint scarring is visible on his face. A claw mark on his jawline, a vertical cut on his left cheek, a well healed gash on his right cheek, and a light cross shaped scar under his right eye. His steel backed gauntlets and peculiar vial belt round his waist stand out.

Weapons: He is often seen with a sword or spear. His ranged weapon of choice is a crossbow, though he's been seen with a longbow a few times. Throwing knives stuffed into his boots are usually unnoticed.

Accent: His voice has a light accent that seems stern, sometimes he has used false accents such as Rohirric.

Bio

Aliases: Known as Sywyn Jalipe

Background (The Avasa Days): A mercenary and a trained herbalist in the South Downs, Sywyn Jalipe came back to Eriador in search of some work as the jobs seemed to dry up in the Downs. Less than a week, and he had stumbled upon a ranting deranged man who was intent on killing some person known as 'Jack'. Tailing the madman, he warned Jack just in time and the madman was buried in an unmarked grave at the abandoned farm near Archet. Impressed by his intuitiveness, Jack let Sywyn know that possible work could arise in the close future for him.

Some weeks later, Sywyn was paid a fee for kidnapping two people with the aid of Jack's other associates. Taking them to the caves under the farm in which the madman was buried. The plan was to lure someone into the caves intent to save the two luckless folk and strike. The trap worked, though the ambush failed, the cave was swarming with people wanting revenge for the attack. Luckily for Sywyn, he escaped with an associate of Jack's, Enirol, and ditched his disguise and headed away.

Later, he found out that Jack had been severely burnt and beaten saving the seductress Cwenlyn though still survived. After awhile, Jack's lot (including Sywyn) were run out of Bree by a mob led by an apparent Dunedain. Though after awhile returned to Bree. The Dunedain's son had a grievance however and assaulted one of Jack's lot, which led to a fight on the bridge, just West of the Bree West Gate. No one died, but several were wounded. Sywyn skipped out of the battle early, having received a wound to the side. After tending to his wounds, Sywyn vanished out of Bree for awhile.

It was on his return he found that the woman known as Cwenlyn had been attacked by an Umbarian who was not keen on her using him. Jack's lot were after the Umbarian and his daughter Emmelin, and a masked Sywyn managed to kidnap the daughter and drag her through the Marshes to interrogate her, the interrogation never went so well, she had headbutted the mask he wore, shattering part of it into his face. She was too stubborn to give into the methods Sywyn employed, and he hadn't the urge to kill her, as it would just incite the Umbarian's wrath. He left her bound in the marshes, threatening she'd be goblin food by the time the morning arrived

A twist of fortune happened when he left an anonymous note for one of Emmelin's friends to go free her in the marshes. Once freed, Emmelin noticed Sywyn by the cuts on his face from the shattered mask and became the first to scar his face. Somehow, they grew to have some respect for one another.
