Physical Description: Taellenor stands at a noble height of six feet. From his torso up, he is decorated with numerous scars of his journeys throughout Middle-Earth. His black hair and matching beard are out of place on a man of Gondor, as are his blue eyes.

Personality Description: Taellenor, or Tael to his friends, is a quiet Man, but with a good heart. Though he is a Man, and like all Men weak to the darkness that besieges Middle-Earth, he maintains a code of honor and nobility.

Bio

From the writings of Allenor of Bree-town, Journeyman Scholar

Following is the biography of a dear friend, with whom I myself and a small fellowship of others traveled with.

Taellenor was born on the 13th day month of August in the city of Minas Tirith to Celawyn Dawnbreak and an unknown father who was a Ranger. Alas to say, Celawyn died shortly after birth, though what I was able to gather from rumors, she was a lovely and caring woman. Tael's father departed when he was a child of 5. Though he never spoke much of it, I do not believe Tael ever felt and hatred towards his father. Quite the contrary, as he followed his father's path as a Ranger, but more on that later.

Though he was orphaned at such a young age, he took shelter in the House of Healing amongst the healers, aiding them where he could. As he grew, he took to reading tales of the old Dunedain kingdoms of the North, and of Numenor to the West. It was when he began entering his teenage years that the healers allowed him to read a book his father left him. Within this book lay the knowledge that began Tael's journey to become a Ranger. He always told me he would read that book into the late hours of the night, almost till daybreak. What became of the book after he departed Minas Tirith, he would never say.

When he turned the age of 16, he made the choice to test the knowledge he gained over years of pouring over that tome. He traveled to Osgiliath, where for years the forces of Mordor and Gondor fought at a stand-still. There he offered his life as an Ithilien Ranger. For two years, he fought the foul Orcs and Men of the East, but on his 18th birthday, he was ambushed by an Orc most foul. The Orc managed to near-mortally wound Tael, but in the end, Tael won out. He was quickly rushed back to the House of Healing, and though he survived, he was told he would never be able to serve Gondor again. Though as I'm sure any who read this should know, these tidings did not sit well with Tael. Nor did he listen to them.

When he was 20, having healed enough, Taellenor took on the surname Brightheart and begin to wander. Over the next 5 years, he began walking northwards, past the Rohan palace of Edoras, through the dense woods of Mirkwood, to the Lonely Mountain and the Citadel of Erebor. It was in Erebor that he met Erbrim Furyaxe, a Dwarf warrior (More on him in a later section, but let me always say that Master Erbrim was a good Dwarf and is, to this day, sorely missed.) After staying in the hospitality of the Dwarfs for a few short days, he begin wandering once more, but to the West, through the Redhorn Pass in Eregion, then north to Rivendell. What brought him to Rivendell, he never said.

Alas, at this time I shall set down my quill, for the stars above grow bright, and the moon rises high. That, and I've been drinking from the home brew as I write this, and as such, need to rest before I collapse upon my desk.
