Description
Physical Description: Glomwick is a stout, stocky Dwarf, as are most hailing from the Iron hills, usually seen clad in either his beloved father's armour or his sturdy travelling furs. He travels with atleast one axe on his belt, that usually being accompanied by two or three throwing axes and even his family sword, should he deem it's use necessary. He has a fire-red beard and hair, neither looking too well groomed, aside from the odd braiding in his beard (Something his wife insists on). His body is thick, but don't mistake it for fat, Glomwick is strong, even by Dwarven standards, thanks to many years spent persistantly training - and fighting - For his King, Dáin II Ironfoot, and his father, Glombur's respect. Glomwick has no scars, indeed, he see's them as a sign of weakness, and of being bested in battle. Dwarves of the Iron Hills are known to be hardy, elite warriors. Glomwick is no exception.
Personality Description: Glomwick is stubborn. Even by Dwarvish standards, he is stubborn. We won't even pay for an ale if he's charged one copper over! Although he is steadfastly loyal to his people, most especially his King, his family, and those whom he deems to be friends. He expects respect, in return, he is respectful and polite - and even generous - like no other. He has no mis-trust or dislike of Elves, as so many Dwarves he's met have. He see's it as petty. Indeed, it's rare to see Glomwick drink too much, him liking too much to be sober. The most important things to Glomwick, are Respect, personal loyalty, and trust. Durin help those who go against him. He, like is father, is unforgiving to the extreme. If you insult his pride, his honesty, or his dignity, he will not forget it.
Bio
Born : 5/Jan 2898 TA
Starting Training : 6/Jan 2928. Just turning battle-ready, Glomwick joined the Army of the Iron Hills and started his training.
First taste of battle : October, 2941. At 43 Glomwick was part of Dáins army from the Iron hills. Took part in the battle of five armies.
'Empty Period' : 2941 - 3018. Training hard and participating in every small skirmish or battle possible, Glomwick honed his skills. Although, as no truly notable event happened, Glomwick named this his 'Quiet' or 'peaceful' period.
Return of Glombur : 3018. Glomwick's Father, Glombur, whom spent many years in the Blue mountains, returned, although shortly, and passed away. Prompting Glomwick to head to the Blue mountains, and Bree, to inform his friends.
The Preparations : Late 3018. Before his leaving, Glomwick was informed of the attempt to reclaim Moria. Glomwick was asked, along with many, to Travel to the Blue mountains to try and recruit more good Dwarves.
The Reclaimation : Early 3019. With troops rallied, Glomwick entered Moria from the west gate, along with many other strong willed, well trained Dwarves.
