Description

Physical Description: Araniolas is a tall Elf of Lindon, and has blonde hair and green eyes. He can usually be seen wearing traditional heavy armor, protecting him from the many forces of evil he faces every day.

Personality Description: Araniolas is a quiet elf, generally keeping to himself. He is kind though, and always willing to drop whatever he is doing to help those in need. If you see him around Middle-Earth, feel free to ask for his help and/or advice. As an elf of 1,400+ years, he has quite a bit of experience in the various regions of Middle-Earth, and can usually offer good advice.

Bio

Araniolas Estelholdan is an elf of Lindon. He left Lindon with his wife, Allesandra, when he had a mysterious dream that bid him go to the Blue Mountains. Here, Allesandra and Araniolas found many new dangers, and explored new areas, making friends and enemies. Their adventures took them from Ered Luin to Bree-Land, where they met two very important people; Gandalf the Grey and Aragorn, son of Arathorn. From Bree they continued their quest to end the spreading shadow in Eriador, fighting orcs, trolls, uruks, goblins, spiders, wights, and all manner of foul creatures, until eventually, they found themselves in Angmar, at the capital city of the Witch King himself: Carn Dum. In the Witch King's absence, Mordirith, a Black Numenorean, had been left as Steward of Angmar. It was Mordirith whom Allesandra and Araniolas faced in combat, and defeated, securing the safety or Eriador. But their journeys were still far from over. They received word from Elrond of Rivendell, that urged them to follow the Fellowship of the Ring into Moria, and when they arrived, they found a large force of Iron Garrison Dwarves attempting to re-colonize the Mines. After several long months of aiding the dwarves in establishing a foothold in Moria, the pair continued into Lothlorien, and found the Fellowship resting in the great city of Caras Galadhon. When they arrived however, they found that their old friend, Gandalf the Grey, was not in Lothlorien; he had fallen into shadow in the Mines of Moria. Seeing that the Fellowship was in good health and resting from the trials of Moria, Allesandra and Araniolas moved on into Mirkwood, to rescue some of the dwarves who had been taken captive during the retaking of Moria. Unwilling to give up their captives however, Allesanra and Araniolas had to work together with the Elves of Lorien, the Elves of Mirkwood, and the dwarves of the Iron Garrison to lay siege to Dol Guldur and take back the prisoners. Although the enemies of the tower were defeated, and the prisoners rescued, the allies were driven out of the tower when a terrible Nazgul, known as the Lieutenant of Dol Guldur, arrived with a mighty host of evil beings. The siege of the tower was now left to the allies of Allesandra and Araniolas, as the two heroes had been called to join the Dunedain Rangers in Rohan, to aid Aragorn. On their way to Rohan however, the host of Rangers, accompanied by Allesandra and Araniolas, was forced to pass very close to Isengard, and were attacked by Men of Dunland and Uruk-Hai from Isengard. Many of the Rangers were killed, and Allesandra and Araniolas themselves were captured. Fortunately though, with the help of some other prisoners, the pair managed to escape, and continued on their way to Rohan. The two now seek Aragorn and the rest of the Fellowship in Eastern Rohan, hoping to help the Ringbearer in his epic quest.
