Anyone have any idea where the "25 Superior Galadhrim Rations Recipe" "25 Superior Golden Wood Roasts Recipe" "25 Superior Lothlórien Waybread Recipe" come from (what barter vendor)? I can't find them with my cook... and have run to the barter folks I know in Mirkwood... Artifact (talk) 16:38, 30 December 2011 (EST)

I believe you get those from Maenasdir, a barter elf next to the Vinyards of Lórien, south-east of Caras Galadhon. -- Elinnea (talk) 16:46, 30 December 2011 (EST)

Checking Accuracy

On the Auction House, there is currently a listing for "Cut of Delicious Meat Recipe". This wiki page states that the recipe is a "Vendor Recipe". Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it's possible to list a Vendor Recipe on the Auction House. The Auction House listing wants "Current 46 silver 88 copper" and "Buyout 55 silver 55 copper", but according to this wiki page, the vendor price is 8 silver 64 copper.

As indicated, if LOTRO allowed Vendor Recipes on the Auction House 1) it would completely screw up LOTRO's economy and 2) players who paid a ridiculous price for a Vendor Recipe from the Auction House would feel horrible--that's not LOTRO's style. Therefore, this wiki page must be wrong.

Now I'm looking at the "Recipe: Cooking Tier 6" offerings of the Expert Cook NPC in Bree's Three-farrow Crafting Hall. She only offers:

  • Bowl of Cool Water Recipe
  • Ilex Campfire Kit
  • (Bowl of) Lamb Stock Recipe
  • Roasted Carp Recipe

This wiki page correctly identifies these as "Vendor Recipe".

Same situation for "Pot of Sweet Honey and Oats Recipe".

You can put on Auction items you bought from Vendor. If you look at the recipe page on wiki, it will tell you it is available from Loremaster trainer.
