Description
Ragna the Fierce was queen and wife to Durin the Deathless in the First Age. A great warrior in her own right, she led the army that assaulted Biriz-zahar, the city of the Greymauls, while Durin was held by Mótsog the Traitor in the heights of the city. It was at her suggestion that the surviving Greymauls and their descendants for several generations were made to cut their beards short, as a reminder of their treachery.

Ragna appears in a number of flashbacks in the Legacy of Durin and the Trials of the Dwarves: Chapter 10
