Here is the original dialogue when the quest was given by Saeradan:

I have received new orders from Aragorn, my chieftain. I am supposed to somehow put a stop to Sharkey's plans here in Bree-land myself...with the support of people like you, of course.

First, we must deal with their leadership, as well as learn their plans. The brigands have established an encampment they call Brigands' Watch, almost due north of Adso's camp. It is likely that the leader of these brigands keeps correspondance of some kind from Sharkey. Search the brigand-captain's tent and bring me any letters, notes, or other correspondance you find.

Expect a fight. I doubt the brigands will let you search their camp at your leisure.

Here is Chief Watcher Grimbriar's old and long dialogue when you finish the quest:

More ill news. According to this, Orcs have come down from the north, which means Trestlebridge is in trouble. I will have to send another messenger to Arohir and hope he gets through.

This could mean difficult times ahead for us. The brigands and Orcs are bad enough each alone...together, they would become a force to be reckoned with. I will come up with a plan to deal with this situation.

In the meantime, I want you to attack any Orc camps you can find along the way to Trestlebridge. If we can drive back the Orcs, and if Trestlebridge holds out, there will be no one for Sharkey's Men to ally with.

Objective 2

I goofed and forgot to verify Objective 2 when I completed it. I have only one more alt who might be able to do this chain and will try to remember to check. David 12:50, 1 May 2011 (EDT)
