In-game: Mistaken compass/radar objective location

I could be mistaken because I didn't pay enough attention to the exact co-ordinates while I still had the quest, but I believe that the quest co-ordinates displayed within the game's compass directs players to an incorrect location. The quest arrow seems to indicate the weapons are to be found around ^{[13.6S, 55.2W]}.
