This quest counts for the Aiding the Entwash Vale deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Assorted Vale-roots and Vale-Uruks also inhabit the area and will need to be cleared on venturing through the tunnels to reach most of the goblins; some pathing through the tunnels, others guarding other kegs usually in shallow corners. To leave the instance either return to the instance entrance portal (a Door at the end of the tunnel you arrived in). Or use the 'Leave Instance' feature (right click the character portrait) which is easier generally in these tunnels.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The Living Deep has been invaded by the sappers of the Enemy, foul goblins skittering about through the caves, assaulting the forest from below. The more of the forest that they claim, the greater their war-machine becomes. 'To defend ourselves, we must strike at our enemy. Head into the Living Deep and defeat the goblins within.' Background The goblins within the Living Deep are attempting to destroy the forest from below. Objective 1 Defeat goblins in the Living Deep (0/10) Goblins can be found in the Living Deep. Dernstan: 'When you are ready to brave the tunnels of the Living Deep, we can depart. Enter the Public Instance: The Living Deep Objective 2 Talk to Dernstan Dernstan is at Eaworth. Dernstan will be pleased to hear you defeated several goblins within the Living Deep. Dernstan: 'They will return, I have no doubt, but for tonight we can sleep without the ground rumbling.'
