You have found a verse of what appears to be a Woodfolk song, perhaps written down by a scholar passing through the Vales. You might be able to complete the song if you find all of the missing verses.

Objective 2

  • Completed

Completed.

Remote Quest Advance: After a fair amount of searching, you have completed the song. This seems to be a song the Woodfolk sing to their children to warn them away from the marshes. The song itself is quite old, and has been passed down verbally for many generations. Could it be that Old Mad Ubb was based on a real person, perhaps 'Úbil the Snatcher,' a figure of whom the Woodfolk still speak? The unpleasantness of which Old Mad Ubb is accused in the doggerel strikes you as familiar, somehow.
