Bestowal dialogue

'We need to learn what happened here. Go forward with caution, <name>, and I will follow behind. Worms of the Frost-horde or Karazgar himself may lie in wait for us, further ahead. I think we have cornered the Weeping Warrior in his lair, and a cornered animal is made more dangerous.

'Remain alert for any threat, no matter what it might be!'

Background

You have come with Vútro the West-wind to a cavern in the Ered Mithrin that may have served as Karazgar's lair. But where is the Weeping Warrior now?

Objective 1

Vútro the West-wind has asked you to search Karazgar's lair for some sign of the Weeping Warrior.

These drakes of the Frost-horde were slain by some sharp instrument

Objective 2

  • Search the lair for some sign of Karazgar

Vútro the West-wind has asked you to search Karazgar's lair for some sign of the Weeping Warrior.

Judging from its injuries, this drake engaged in fierce battle before it was slain
Small piles of rust shine in the pale light of the cavern
Steam still rises from the blood, even in the cavern's cold air

Objective 3

  • Search the lair for some sign of Karazgar

Vútro the West-wind has asked you to search Karazgar's lair for some sign of the Weeping Warrior.

The tunnel opens into a large cavern filled with the corpses of worms and drakes

Objective 4

  • Search the lair for some sign of Karazgar

Vútro the West-wind has asked you to search Karazgar's lair for some sign of the Weeping Warrior.

The drake-corpse is warm to the touch. The creature has not been dead for long

Objective 5

Vútro the West-wind has entered the large chamber at the rear of Karazgar's lair.

Vútro the West-wind: 'I don't understand, <name>. Where is Karazgar? It is clear from the butchery here that he engaged in battle with the Frost-horde that tracked him to his lair, but if he was the victor, as he seems to have been, then where has he gone?'
