The new image map is a bit different than the previous, but since it was taken directly from the game I would assume its correct. Either way, could someone check if it did indeed change? Gwenwyfar (talk) 14:11, 28 September 2012 (EDT)

Maps do change over time for a variety of reasons -- new artists, passing of maintenance responsibility, new tools. The basics of the map are still the same, but cosmetic things like the "square edges" are replaced by "jagged, more natural" borders, etc. Virtually all maps still "suffer" from original game-technology known as the "fog of war" -- where only portions of an area you had visited/seen are recorded on a map.
