When the river was known as Ithilduin, woodland creatures of the Vale came to its banks to drink deeply of its clean waters, but that was many years ago. Now the foul waters of the Morgulduin draw a less healthy crowd. These vile beasts take their vile sustenance from the corrupted waters flowing out of Eithel Gwaur and must be slain.
