The Battle of the Crossings of Erui was part of the Kin-strife civil war of Gondor, fought in Third Age 1447.
It was fought between the forces of King Eldacar of Gondor and the usurper Castamir at the Crossings of Erui. Eldacar killed Castamir in single combat, ending the usurper's claim to the throne of Gondor.
