I agree that categories under Geography are not logical, this was a worm I tried to kick at a year ago, but for reasons I do not want to reiterate now I dropped that ball, then. I will have a go on those categories.

The navbox iterates definitions that are 1:1 with the templates/boilerplates we use. Other categories are "extra" and come without charge. Do not confuse those ;)

Camps, I believe they should be just friendly. We have Category:Enemy holdings for hostile, and I guess that term does not imply any size of the hostile camp/site/area. On another note, many Category:Camps are landmarks just with the extra info. The same goes for Category:Outposts, they are settlements with an "extra", compare with Category:Villages, Category:Towns, and Category:Cities. All of those are an extra fine-graded label and should go into Category:Settlements. But perhaps not camps as they are too small for being a settlement the way we define settlements. But in the end camps must end up somewhere, right?

So, in the end of the day some categories are a judgement call where to out down, and personally I do not believe in adding yet new categories just to handle peculiarities but I tend to put them down where they best fit, even though not a perfect fit. But I will have a look at it.

I have not yet looked at your work with the Lotro-Wiki Categorization, but I will, some day :)
