Comment: For very long and unwieldy pages we often use the technique of transclusion, that is from a number of pages easier to maintain each by itself the wikimedia-engine copies the text we mark up onto a larger page. Hence we sometimes have three, or even more pages.

In the case I quoted from I guess it does not matter much whether to link to the longer, merged page, or to the shorter version. Hence I let others judge your move, it is OK with me though ;)         This was regarding diff-1 and diff-2.

I have no particular attachment to having the information spread across three pages, but as long as it is and they're all transcluded, it's much more helpful to have the nav-box send to the actual pages, rather than popping down the page where I try to edit and see only something like {{:Rune-keeper Skills}}. So I've rolled back the changes. It shouldn't make a big difference to casual readers, but is much better for editors. -- Elinnea (talk) 12:32, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
