Walkthrough & Notes

From the starting location and Delving Stone, head southeast for the quest objectives. Wights are found both on the small islands, as well as among the pools and shipwrecks. There are numerous Shade creatures -- Wretched Darkwaters and Frenzied Spectres among the rocks and pools. These are not needed for any quest objective and can mostly be bypassed to save time. Drowned Brine-drinkers summon Foul Wrigglers (worms). Captive sailors at [4.0S, 127.9W], [4.2S, 127.7W], and [4.2S, 127.6W]. Noblewoman is at [4.4S, 127.4W], and Rûpharo the Rancorous spawns nearby, just out of aggro range. Scout appears slightly north of both spots.

Background A prominent Umbari noble has vanished during a routine trip to the Shedax Khîn in the Shield Isles, near an isle it's rumoured the dead walk freely. Investigate and rescue any trapped sailors. Objective 1 Defeat drowned wights (0/6) Defeat blight-callers (0/8) Defeat brine-drinkers (0/2) Rescue captive sailors (0/3) Tied Prisoner says, "So cold. Bless you, I wouldn't have lasted much longer." Tied Prisoner says, "I did not think I would survive. But I shall, thanks to you." Tied Prisoner says, "I thought we were done for. Another few hours and we would have been. Thank you."
