Background
Léothred, the Rohirric scholar, wishes to learn more about the great worm, Scatha, whose history weaves closely with that of the great warrior, Fram.

- Léothred says, "Frumgar nearly slew the beast."
- Fram says, "Hold out for just a moment longer!"
- Léothred says, "The lord was bested in the end."
- Frumgar says, "Ack!"
- Fram says, "Father!"
- Léothred says, "Frumgar's arm was horribly gnawed by the worm's sharp teeth."
- Léothred says, "Fram came to his father's rescue."
- Frumgar says, "Quick my boy, Wrothbláda!'"
- Léothred says, "He picked up his father's sword and fought the dragon."
- Fram says, "Do not worry, I will finish this."
- Fram says, "For your sake, I hope you do not run."
- Léothred says, "Scatha was so badly wounded that the beast fled into the night."
- Fram says, "Face me, you coward, you worm!"
- Fram says, "Scatha!"
- Fram says, "Father, you are badly injured!"
- Frumgar says, "I will live."
- Fram says, "You need a healer! The worm is still alive."
- Fram says, "Someone help!"
- Léothred: 'Frumgar's arm had been horribly gnawed by Scatha's sharp teeth. While Fram saved his father's life, Frumgar would never fully recover from that day.'
