This recipe is really odd, there are certainly some bugs that will be fixed. For one, the recipe name and item names do not match exactly. Currently, the recipe text says it can only be used once, but it does not write to the recipe book as a Single-use recipe, it is multi use. This is despite using a Mithril Flake and a Journal as the crit item. Furthermore, the normal result is Bind on Equip, yet the crit result is Bind on Acquire. The crit stats are barely different (+1 to each). Lastly, the speckled shell fragment only seemed to drop from Deep Turtles during the Strange Happenings event. MysterX 22:47, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Name for the recipe is fixed (just had a drop), it's not single use, stats are correct, and shells needed drop from Nornúan and Gonflad. Tiberivs (talk) 17:56, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
