Tactics
Gaergarch the Thirsty is accompanied by four Elite Engorged Broodlings and two Elite Master Cliff-spinners, which give her the Bloodpack buff. Her Blight debuff cannot be dispelled and needs to be healed through. She can cast it at close range without actual contact. She can also cast the debuff Susceptibility to Poison which lowers Poison resistance by 2000 for two minutes. This effect can be dispelled. All of her adds can also cast this.
Max warsteed range is just barely too far for her to cast Blight on a player. Having one player kite her on a warsteed while the others kill the adds is quite effective. After the adds are down, either a tank can take her as long as there is a dedicated healer, or if there is no proper tank, players can kite her on warsteeds, careful to never stray too close.
She also spawns additional non-Elite Engorged Broodlings during the fight that she leaves behind as she moves. They do not follow her. She can leave behind at least seven or eight during a drawn-out fight. They have much lower health and do not immediately aggro but can also give the Susceptibility to Poison debuff if they attack.
