Dwergfant is a repeatable public quest instance within Norcrofts, in East Rohan.

Dwergfant is an ancient dwarf cistern located in the foothills of the Misty Mountains which regulates the Limlight river.

Location

The location can only be reached by quests granted by Aldbéort in Cliving, and only after the prerequisite quest Aiding the Eastemnet has been started.

Tactics

There are rocks caught in mechanisms that control the water that need to be removed for one of the quests. Once the mechanisms in each room (larger rooms have two mechanisms) are repaired, the room will fill up to ankle level with fluorescent green water. Move out of the green water as it gives a debuff (Acidic Waters which reduces Morale over time)

Lore

The Dwergfant is an ancient dwarf cistern, built into the southern foothills of the Misty Mountains west of Stangard. I do not know how it works, but we discovered it years ago when the waters of the Limlight became brackish and poisoned. We traced the river upstream until we found a flooded chamber, filled with levers, pipes and a still fetid pool. As we pulled on the chains, the water roared to life and a great vortex began to spin. Soon after, the river became clear and safe again. We now make regular trips to the Dwergfant to ensure its mechanisms are open and working, and the Limlight is safe.
