Our casualties mount higher and higher from the daily incursions. Now our enemy closes in from all sides, the East Wall to the north and small encampments to the West and South. Their horns and drums sound, they are marching upon us again. I do not know if there are enough of us left to repel yet another assault, but I know we will stand our ground until the bitter end.
