The Living Deep is a cave system under the Fangorn forest which has been occupied by goblins performing some unknown task.

Location

The location can only be reached by quests granted by Dernstan in Eaworth, and only after the prerequisite quest Aiding the Eastemnet has been started.

Lore

The roots of Fangorn burrow deep and far into the north-west of these lands. There are caves one can walk through to view the forest from below, an odd experience to say the least but one that brings wonder at the breadth and power of the forest. From one of these caves, The Living Deep, we have seen goblins crawling around and heard the sounds of terrible thunder from within. Whatever they are attempting, it cannot lead to good.
