Bestowal dialogue

'Ah, you there! It appears you have some spare time on your hands. You've seen the guards hard at work around the city, yes? Despite the festival, they keep watch day and night. The war remains fresh on everyone's minds, I'm afraid.

The guards are busy people with little time, but I want to help them fijnd some enjoyment nevertheless. And food is the key to anyone's heart.

'I've just made a batch of small pastries and let them cool on that table over there I'll need you to deliver them to any hungry-looking guards nearby. Quickly now! I don't want my pastries to get cold.'

Background

The pastry chef Ciriel wishes to share the festivities with guards who are on-duty.

NOTE: This quest will be removed from your quest log when the current festival ends.

Objective 1

  • Take Ciriel's pastries

Ciriel's plate of pastries are on the table next to her.

You will need to take some pastries to distribute among the guards.

Objective 2

  • Deliver Ciriel's pastries to hungry guards (0/4)
 Pastries

There are hungry guards walking around nearby on the Third Circle.

You should find them and deliver Ciriel's pastries.

Hungry Guard: 'It saddens me that I cannot join in the celbrations right now, but I appreciated the kind gesture.'
Hungry Guard: 'Thank you, I needed that. It's been a long day, but Ceriel's pastries always taste good.'
Hungry Guard: 'Many thanks! Could you pass that message on to the chef as well?'
Hungry Guard: 'My favourite! If I had to do all of this work just to get a pastry from Ceriel, then it was worth it.'
Delivered pastries (4/4)

Objective 3

 Pastries

Ciriel expects your return on the Third Circle of Minas Tirith.

You should relay the guards' messages of thanks to her.

Ciriel: 'You're back, and with an empty platter at that! You have my gratitude. I don't say that to just anyone; you've made quite a few people smile today.
'Come back tomorrow. There will always be mouths to feed.'
