Durin's Tower was a structure that stood at the very top of Zirakzigil. It was carved directly out of the mountain and was the entrance to the Endless Stair, and named after Durin, King of the Dwarves.

At the end of the Third Age, Gandalf and Durin's Bane climbed the Endless Stair and came to the tower. Upon the peak, they fought for two more days until both of their deaths. During this fight, the tower was destroyed and the entrance to the stair became blocked.

Pieces of the tower can be seen strewn all over the cliff side, and it will likely never be rebuilt.
