The original Weaponsmith's Guild-hall is found in Thorin's Hall - The Forging Hall, at its eastern wall.

This is the home for the Weaponsmith's Guild where it is possible to gain reputation and obtain exclusive recipes and items not possible to obtain by other means.

The Weaponsmith's Guild trains serious students of the art of weaponry in advanced techniques, allowing them to create superior items with less effort.

NOTE: since Update 27, players may find the guild NPCs located in The House of Craft in Minas Tirith (Midsummer) ^{[23.2N, 54.9W]} to be preferable to Thorin's Hall, since a weaponsmith's second guildable profession -- Woodworking for the Armsman vocation, or Scholar for the Historian vocation -- can also be guilded in the same location in Minas Tirith (Midsummer), thus obviating a separate trip. Minas Tirith (Midsummer) is available to characters of all levels.

Reputation

In order to gain reputation in your chosen guild, you must:

1. Purchase guild recipes from Bill Mossman, the Weaponsmith's Guild Emblem Recipes vendor
2. Craft any or all of the recipes to make "emblems"; they do not share a mutually exclusive cooldown
3. Right-click on the emblems to gain guild reputation. Consider using a reputation accelerator (may be granted by Hobbit presents, or purchased from Marks vendor).
4. Remember to repeat the process of making each emblem each day, and consume it to gain reputation.
   • with normal real life interruptions, a character can gain Westemnet standing with the Guild in about a month
5. The easiest way to reach Honoured (Minas Ithil) Master of the Guild standing is to have the Minas Morgul Expansion.
   • Pick up the quest A Special Order - Blade from Cottar Tunnelly.
   • Follow the quest chain to get a total of 200.000 rep, which is what you need to reach Honoured (Minas Ithil) Master.
6. If you don't have the Minas Morgul Expansion you can use the "old" guild recipes to gain the 200.000 rep needed.
