Variag

Variags are mercenaries from the land of Khand.

Though they are from an Eastern land, Variags are culturally distinct from the Khundolar, Jangovar, and Sûhalar. Their loyalty is for sale and they may forsake their allegiances if they feel they have been insufficiently compensated. Thus, hostile Variags are classified as Brigands rather than Easterlings.
