Shire is where the home is at

More particularly, Areyekuwe Goodenough (Nicknamed: Mayor of the Golden Perch) who is a descendant of the Old Stoor families of:

  • Goodenough of Green Hill Country them were starting out in the Shire as original Pipe-Weed cultivators, long before smoking became well adopted. Most well known and remembered member of that family became Ivy Goodenough who was wife of original patriarch of Boffin family, Buffo Boffin.
  • Puddifoot of Stock who turned many a head up to this day as they like many things very much like Tall Folks do, including living in houses!?
  • Boffin of Yale a family with many connections to the Bagginses and Tooks, who are some of the greatest of families of Fallohide ancestry, certain as such because it can be easily traced in case of say Bilbo Baggins and Frodo Baggins to the Great Took (Bandobras Took, more commonly known as Bullroarer), himself who was an ample example.

Areyekuwe himself born on the edge of the Shire in Eastfarthing by the Brandywine Bridge in Stock. He is very well acquainted with relations residing in Hobbiton and Michael Delving area, Notably Bingo Boffin having gone to the top of the Cooks Guild rankings and having spent some time working on the farms of South Fields

Personally (switching to the 1st person quick, fast) Fishing around the river and Marsh, mushroom picking if all is well are just the best things to do ever, surely.

Stoors who were late arrivals in the Shire settling throughout the Eastfarthing, more particularly along the banks of the Brandywine River,
In Buckland and all the way to the Bree, in places like Bree's Little_Staddlemere North Gate's Windview_Estate.
Alas, that very outgoing character of the Great Stoors could have enabled such present day situation.

All this resulted in often non traditional, self reliant character, boat building, swimming in rivers and proactive defense, or wearing of boots when need be.

Brief Abstract of the Hobbit History and Lore

The Goodenough Clan

Hobbit diaspora of Middle Earth

The Shire

The Shire of today is the central, the greatest and most storied home of Hobbits.

Some of the most important things in lives of Hobbits of today are marked by giving, receiving, collecting, moving around of The Mathoms. And so it stands to reason that Mathom Society Is clearly the most important organization of the Shire today. Gaining reputation with the membership and moving Mathoms around is unavoidable facts of life of all Hobbits.
The competing for popularity and attention organization within Shire is Inn League organization with seems to hold central stage during every fest there is. The Inn League is headquartered in the Bird and Baby Inn in Michel Delving in the Shire, though there are Inn League members throughout Eriador. The Inn League rooms are only available to those of Friend reputation or better.

The Yondershire

The Yondershire is an area within The Shire, in the north-western direction.

The Yondershire is traditionally considered the 'wild' part of the Shire. The last part to be occupied by the Hobbits centuries after the original settlement of the rest of the region. Originally covered in woods that served as hunting grounds for Gil-Galad and, later, Elendil, it became part of the province of Arthedain when Arnor was settled but preserved as wilderness by writ of the King. Later kings, however, razed the old forests for farmland: some woods later grew back but much of it remains open country, heather-covered moors and fields of rich tilth that support such crops as barley, hemp and cotton.
Announcement about the Yondershire, March 2022

After advance in reputation with: The Yonder-watch
One is able to do business with: Quartermaster
-And that allows one to receive Return to the Shire & Yondershire skill enabling quick access to the Swift Stable networ throughout all of the Shire as well as ability to decorate one's home in the Shire in just the way.

In the Bree-land

Within Bree-Land Hobbits have found harmoneous homes for themselves amongst settlements of the Bree, particularly in the north direction of the city and all over Staddle

In the Enedwaith

The Stoors, who have moved later and having taken a different path from ancient homeland of Hobbits within greater region of Vales of great Anduin have taken south route, round the mountains. As a result many Stoor families settled on the way. Most prominent settlement of today is within greater Enedwaith and is called Maur Tulhau which unsurprisingly means The Greater Burrow.

In the Wells of Langflood

Wells of Langflood, namely hidden village of Lyndelby remain the only settlement of Hobbits in the area of previous era of settlement which predates great migration towards the Shire. It is located in the area where traditionally Fallohides and Harfoots dwelled and is populated by actual Harfoot decendents.

Mischief Maker, Who? - Burglar, You!

Burglar Class Fun

Most articles start with "This famous such and such", in this instance we can no longer pretend that it is acceptable term of play. This is to hint that you are seeking information on the founder of the Shire's kin: Den of Thieves, the infamous Mischief-Maker himself: Areyekuwe.

Goes without saying, here is the title:

An alright hobbit from far away in a field or when faced with a challenge, coz keeping cool is a professional trait of all such Burglars, but furiously running and at times down right crushing foes with The Great Took's own club.

Past Projects(The Den is still there, but we have branched out):

Some time during January of 2018 it became evident that Brandywine server of LOTRO and The Shire in particular need something for Hobbits, something for Burglars. Den of Thieves, originally all Hobbit farmers (as in possibly, naturally, very likely Yeoman), all Burglar Kin association was formed. Two months later announcement was made that as long as above mentioned Hobbits are of steady enough character to do the craft that they like, it does not matter what craft they do.
In April of 2019, building on attention of the devs and updates to the Burglar class, doors were open to all Hobbits of the Shire and beyond.
Den of Thieves is in fact the official home of the Second Breakfast, as we know what is important and let you get right to it. And when you need each other, the Den is still all there. Cheers and see you in Turtledown, our home burrow.

Seasonal festivals are an important part of life in Middle-earth! There are many activities such as drinking and dancing that make every festival enjoyable. We love, love, love a good festival! -And there are no bad festivals.

Hytboldt Furniture:

To rebuild this city, The Hytboldt it takes a lot of effort. And yes, us Hobbit folk would rather try and try again to install proper round windows all over there, in there, somewhere, in Rohan. However the resulting furniture, once local folks are up and running their mills, well it is good and of warm color. Take a look.
