Torchún

Description

Torchún is the Warden of the Houses of Healing of Minas Tirith, overseeing responsibility for all the sick and wounded of Gondor's capital city.

Lore

While not referred to by name in the books, Torchún is nonetheless a canon character, who appeared as the unnamed Warden of the Houses of Healing in The Lord of the Rings, Book 6, Chapter 5, The Steward and the King. He counsels Éowyn to rest a week further, following her recovery from wounds sustained during the Battle of Pelennor Fields.
