Locations

Is there a list of rally point/rez circle locations, like for Training-dummy? Could be useful reference for the hunter skill Desperate Flight. So far I've only found two mentions of rally points, Character Stats and Game Terms. -Laineth (talk) 19:05, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

No list exists that I am aware of. I don't know how actually useful in-game such a list would be. Great for academic curiosity, but --
the main thing to keep in mind -- just because you are near a rally point does NOT mean that is the rally point you will go to for either Desperate Flight or in defeat!
As best folks have determined over time, Turbine selects Rally points based on some Turbine-defined concept of "area". A good example of this is in the release notes for 14.2
• Tarlang's Crown
Added a new rally circle north of Edhellond for players who are defeated in the southern to middle portions of Tarlang's Crown. The far north of the area will still send you to Blackroot Vale.
I suspect what is really happening has to do with the underlying "world" architecture. Tarlang's Crown is layered ON TOP of the pre-existing Blackroot Vale area.
The basic issue is that the Blacroot Vale circle is "outside" the Tarlang's Crown "instance" (except that it is not an instance) so when you recover to that point, you have to fight your way back in -- as most of the re-spawn timers have expired before you can make the trip.
A similar issue exists currently with the first build of The Dead Marshes in 14.2 - there is only one rally point for the entire map!
