Endless quest popping

Quests - Alive or Obsolete ???

Can somebody verify whether these level 50 quests which are assumed to be given by the Master Craftsman are obsolete or alive. I assume they are obsolete, and the poor guy ir out of... eehhrr ... is looking for new ventures. But, ... anybody knows for certain?

There's no gating mechanism now for completing the Master crafting tier, so I'd have to say these quests are obsolete. Nothing offered to me at 61 (with Master completed for Tailor / Prospector / Forester), so the only thing I could think of would be they're only available if you haven't yet completed the tier. Will have to comb through the patch notes to see if there's any mention of these guys. Sethladan 18:23, 16 December 2012 (EST)

Patch notes for Echoes of the Dead mention the removal of craft-advancement-gating quests, so that's enough documentation for me to say they're obsolete. Yippee, more stuff to delink. Sethladan 23:46, 16 December 2012 (EST)
