It seems that if you want the armor before you will outgrow it, you will have to plan ahead (assuming you don't already have an alt that can buy it for you). If you start running reputation bonus items from the time you enter Rohan, all the way through, you will reach Kindred with each area before you begin the process of rebuilding Hytbold and you can just do enough quests to earn enough tokens to get your armor, and maybe open up the smithy so you can get the Compendium from the crafting instance. It's important not to skimp on the Wold because for some classes it gates the availability of the breastplate.

People will tell you that it's "easy" now but not give much detail about how exactly. The basic process is the same, but now you get 10 tokens each time you complete a quest in the 5-quest series "Aiding the Eastemnet" (50/day), and each rebuilding location only costs 1 token. Most armor components cost 10 or 20 tokens, and have specific rebuilding requirements which can't be found until prerequisites are met. Sometimes there are dependencies that are not obvious. Two different reputations might offer rebuilding options for the same thing (the Lumber mill for example), and until the lower enhancements are complete, the higher ones may not appear, 'inhabitants rebuild' options often do not appear until after everything is complete for a specific building.

Finally, some parts of Hytbold may be useful to rebuild for some characters, and others not. There may be no point rebuilding superior farmland for a character who can't farm, unless you're fully rebuilding the city once so that you can access all the armor for alts. The alt, however, may choose to rebuild the farmland if they want to farm there. It can also be useful to have more than one alt that has the smithy available if you want more than one Compendium per day. It can generate gold if sold on the AH, or it can help create currency to buy relics from guild leaders. Compendiums are also available at skirmish vendors but, as of this writing, the marks and medallions costs may be high, and there are better uses for marks. I believe it is still necessary to complete all of the rebuilding quests to open-up the closing quest cycle. I haven't verified this.

Yes I had to complete all the rebuilding quests in all 4 areas (which also unlocked some more building quests for the mead hall after Entwash vale was complete). Then when all 4 were done, I got the Witan quests. However, that did not complete the deeds "Aiding the Eastemnet -Entwash Vale, Sutcrofts... etc..." and possibly because of that, only one of the Warden armor sets is available to me, ditto for Minstrel. I assume once I complete those deeds it will make the other salespeople appear. Since I only needed Wold rep, I only completed that deed. To fully complete Hytbold, it seems those deeds need to be done regardless of rebuilding status or reputation. Acatlover2 (talk) 03:47, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
