we should try to get one type of cloack and dying it in all the different colors. --Blakborn 15:01, 20 March 2007 (PDT)

Nice page. The images are great. --Hellis 17:43, 20 March 2007 (PDT)

Agreed nice tweaks, sadly though this page was Orphaned and linked from no other pages. I have updated that a bit. Also, I have never seen a dye drop from a corpse.. has anyone? Hamma 12:36, 3 April 2007 (PDT)
Additionally we could probably just link the Dyes to the Scholar Recipes page rather than an individual page fore each recipe. --Hamma 12:49, 3 April 2007 (PDT)

Dye Colour table

Hi all, Well I have add a colour table to help player's out on what are the colour's name and what they are. --Speico 07:17, 30 June 2007 (PDT)

Trying to update

I find this page useful for picking colors and making dyes so I'm trying to update and refine it a bit. I could use help fixing the links since I'm kinda new and not sure how to do it properly. Also, I'm going to try and get pics of cloaks in the missing colors since the simple cloaks are best for showing the colors. I adjusted the ingredients lists but I'll finish updating them once I can log ingame. I'd like to also find a better way to integrate this page so that its easier to find for people that enjoy making costumes and dying items! --Turambar 10:30, 19 March 2008 (PDT)

White Dye

I've seen White Dye being sold in the Auction House, is there any information on it, level, recipe ingredients, etc... Nekura 02:47, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Viewing the Effect of Dye

Is there a way to see the effect of dye on armor before deciding to use it? Kind of like trying it on? Sharran 09:42, 25 December 2010 (EST)

I added the information about the Dressing Room UI to address this. --Sweetmint (talk) 22:05, 18 September 2011 (EDT)

deleting images

if no one objects, I will delete the top gallery of dye colors, as it is incomplete and there is a second, complete gallery directly underneath it. Sweetmint (talk) 17:00, 7 January 2012 (EST)

Not sure if this is what you mean, but please don't delete the pure color squares, I find that valuable vs. the example dyes (since the examples assume a base that is inconsistent across LOTRO items) Artifact (talk) 17:06, 12 January 2012 (EST)
I agree with that, Artifact, although I think she wants to delete the gallery of the dwarf in armour, while leaving the gallery of cloaks - which I think is a good idea. :) -Adelas (talk) 17:55, 12 January 2012 (EST)
Agree the dwarf images gallery valuable and can be removed. Artifact (talk) 17:58, 12 January 2012 (EST)
Yep, I was talking about the incomplete dwarf gallery :) Sweetmint (talk) 20:44, 18 January 2012 (EST)

combining tables

If no one objects, I want to combine the two tables, so there is one master table that has all of the information. Sweetmint (talk) 18:17, 7 January 2012 (EST)

I say go for it Artifact (talk) 17:06, 12 January 2012 (EST)
It seems like a good idea, but I suspect that a complete table would be very wide. What if, on the top table, you just added the Ingredient column? As a side note, I think Primary Ingredient would be more accurate since there are several ingredients to each dye recipe - but you would need a line return, ie Primary<br />Ingredient, or the column would be too wide.
The information in the "acquisition" column is provided on the Crops page; simply having a link to that page should help anyone who is trying to acquire dye ingredients (sadly, you can't link to a specific section because of transclusion issues there). That would also prevent us from having to keep up two pages with the same information. Just my 2 cents. -Adelas (talk) 18:06, 12 January 2012 (EST)
I combined the 'Dye Color', 'Dye Item' and 'Dye' columns into one column, so the table was only extended by one column, not three. Sweetmint (talk) 19:17, 24 January 2012 (EST)
