Should we only add bigger cities here, like Bree and Thorin's Hall? Or just any village, town or camp with any important facility such as bank, AH and milestone? --Tjikke 04:38, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

  • Cities should remain cities for now. So Bree, archet etc. Dont know about thorins hall since i can only stand in fornt of it if it realy is a city. Cities should be where multiple people are housed and it should be named on the map. --Blakborn 04:43, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

Perhaps we should rename this page to 'Towns' or 'Towns and villages'. Cities is too modern imo, and Bree doesn't even fit that name I think. Or anyone got a more fitting name for a place where many people live close to each other? --Tjikke 04:51, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

Remember that tere arent that many people in middle earth. So just 10 people living close to each other will be a town. Cities might implicate larger stnadards in todays meaning, but not in middleearth. --Blakborn 05:02, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

Yeah I think Tjikke is right, since whether books nor games call Rivendell, Thorin Halls or Bree cities, at the most those are towns and called as such on many occasions --Xander 12:38, 26 April 2007 (PDT)
