What is this page? It needs a category because it defies categorization. Why is this info not on the Historian page? Does it belong here at all? Are these three sections supposed to be summaries of the profession introduction quests? Anyone? -Adelas (talk) 01:21, 12 September 2011 (EDT)

This looks like the text of the introduction document you receive in your inventory when you start your historian. Or used to receive; I remember getting it 4 years ago when I started my historian and am not sure if this is still the case (but it might very well be). --Ravanel (talk) 07:24, 12 September 2011 (EDT)
Oh, see The Historian's Guide and Item:A Historian's Guide. I think we should move the info of this page directly to The Historian's Guide, or even to Item:A Historian's Guide. Not sure how to categorize it, though. That would be solved if we just put it on the item's page (the lazy solution).--Ravanel (talk) 07:29, 12 September 2011 (EDT)
Ah HA! Thanks for figuring that out. IMHO, it never should have been separated out. I can kind of understand why they thought it was its own item, since the game-document-item Item:Historian's Guide refers to an imaginary-in-the-lore-document called Ancient Lessons by so-and-so. But since that "referenced" document doesn't exist IN THE GAME, it shouldn't have its own page. Rather, I'd like to see a line of explanation in the Item:Historian's Guide page about how this guide is entitled Ancient Lessons and it was written by Jimbob Elfguy. Can I get an Amen? (ie, does anyone concur?) Also, it seems that the page Historian's Guide should just redirect to the item page.
This all assumes that you still RECEIVE the Historian's Guide and it's not all outdated info. -Adelas (talk) 16:09, 12 September 2011 (EDT)
Oh. It looks like both of the other pages got deleted. Should this one get deleted too then? -Adelas (talk) 16:09, 12 September 2011 (EDT)
I vote for moving it either into the Historians Guide or directly into the item page :) --EoD (talk) 02:59, 9 December 2011 (EST)
This was a pretty useless transclusion in my opinion, so I moved the content to The Historian's Guide. Hope all is OK like this (although someone starting a historian might want to check on it if it still exists). --Ravanel (talk) 04:29, 9 December 2011 (EST)
