Using this skill from behind or achieving a critical hit causes the effects Staggered and Staggered to occur on your target.
Tactical Information
A fast, powerful blow that slows and snares your target when attacking from behind or on a critical hit.
It's a good way to snare targets running away from you (or towards other fellows). Note that a lot of mobs that cast spells (especially healing spells) will remain in a fixed position while casting - you can use this to your advantage by strafing behind them and hitting them with Stagger to apply the debuff.
