Trivia

A Nordic name "Sigrún" means "secret victory", partly coming from "seger" (victory, still used in all Scandinavian languages) and "rún" (secret, the plural rúnar means "magic"). "Sigrun" was also the name of a female Valkyrie in Nordic myths. Tolkien used Sigrun for a female character in a poem named "The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun" which alludes on the Nordic myth. Obviously Turbine did not do their gender-in-languages lessons very well while giving this sturdy dwarf a girl's name.
